However, when extended wear is required, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel. & wear plate steel grades.
Here at GMDiag, we can offer laser-profiled screens in ‘standard’ hardened wear plate steels in the Brinell 400 range, or ‘high’ grade in the Brinell 450 and 500 hardness ranges. Moreover, we can offer hardened chrome-boron steel screens with a Brinell hardness of 500+ for specific applications. With enhanced chrome carbide & grain structure, this grade provides considerably better wear resistance than other grades of similar hardness. It typically gives a much greater service life than standard wear plate grades, including 500 hardness plates.
