However, when extended wear is required, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel. & wear plate steel grades.
Here at GMDiag, we can offer screens laser profiled in ‘standard’ hardened wear plate steels in the Brinell 400 range or ‘high’ grade in the Brinell 450 and 500 hardness ranges. Moreover, we can also offer hardened chrome-boron steel screens in the Brinell 500+ hardness range for specific applications. With enhanced chrome carbide & grain structure, this grade provides considerably better wear resistance than other grades of similar hardness. It typically gives a much greater service life than standard wear plate grades – including 500 hardness plates.
